Common use of Governing Board Reporting Clause in Contracts

Governing Board Reporting. ‌ To ensure the School Community can attend and participate in Governing Board meetings, in accordance with HRS §302D-12, the Governing Board shall have the following available in a public area in the School’s office, accessible for review during regular business hours, and posted on the School’s official website: (a) Governing Board meeting notices and agendas as specified in HRS §302D-12; (b). Written Governing Board meeting minutes as specified in HRS §302D-12; and (c). A list of the current names and contact information of the Governing Board's members and officers; and (d) The schedule of Governing Board meetings by September 1 of each year. The Commission may regularly review the School’s website to ensure compliance with these provisions and to verify that other information on the website is accurate, and complies with this Charter Contract and applicable laws. Failure to meet statutory requirements will result in the school submitting its Governing Board meeting notices, agenda, and minutes directly to the Commission. Noncompliance with this section may result in a Notice of Concern.
