Common use of Grade of Bunkers Clause in Contracts

Grade of Bunkers. (a) Charterers shall supply fuel oil whose properties comply at a minimum with those set out in ISO Standard 8217:2010 for RMH380 and diesel oil as per ISO 8217:2010 DMB (with any subsequent amendments thereto) and marine gas oil as per ISO 8217:2010 DMX (with any subsequent amendments thereto). If Owners require the Vessel to be supplied with more expensive bunkers they shall be liable for the extra cost thereof.

If Owners require the Vessel to be supplied with more expensive bunkers they shall be liable for the extra cost thereof.
