Grievance Procedure: Level 1. The parties agree that a bona fide effort shall be made to resolve a grievance informally before it is put in writing. To this end, any employee who has a grievance shall submit it orally to his/her principal or other administrator designated for this purpose within fifteen (15) school days after the employee had knowledge, or should have had knowledge, of the first occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance. Level 2: If the grievance is not resolved at Level 1 and the employee wishes to appeal the grievance to ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇, the employee shall submit the grievance in writing to his/her principal or other administrator designated for this purpose within five (5) school days of the response presented at Level 1.
