Grievance Process and Timeline LEVEL ONE – DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR. Within fourteen (14) work days of an alleged violation of this Agreement or Board of Education Policy or Guideline, the Union may file a formal written grievance with the Department Supervisor detailing the act or condition which is alleged to have occurred in violation of the Agreement/Board Policy or Guideline and requesting a conference with the Supervisor. This conference shall be held within seven (7) work days of the Supervisor’s receipt of the written grievance. All efforts shall be made to mutually resolve the complaint at this level. The Supervisor shall, within five (5) work days of the conference respond, in writing, to the employee, the Union Representative and the Union office.
