Common use of Grievances Defined Clause in Contracts

Grievances Defined. The term "grievance" shall mean any dispute between the Township and the Union or between the Township and the Employee or Employees covered under this Agreement arising out of the interpretation, application or administration of a specific article or section of this contract. Each grievance shall set forth facts pertaining to the alleged violation of any pertinent section of this contract which is alleged to have been violated.
