H-gear configuration (straight Sample Clauses

H-gear configuration (straight line installation) This configuration is recommended wherever the space in the vessel or the vessel’s trim allows it. The configuration is relatively simple to install as the gear is mounted directly on the engine flywheel housing and the shaft is flanged directly to the gear output flange. The arrangement is simple with low weight. It is also relatively easy to predict noise and vibration.
