Configuration Management definition

Configuration Management means a systematic organisational, technical and administrative process put in place throughout the lifecycle of a vehicle and/or vehicle type to ensure that the consistency of the documentation and the traceability of the changes are established and maintained so that:
Configuration Management means a traceable and well documented process for managing, controlling and properly documenting and recording approved designs and technical data and changes thereto.
Configuration Management means the tracking of supported Customer assets in the Customer provided CMDB;

More Definitions of Configuration Management

Configuration Management has the meaning given in section 2.1.6 of Schedule 2, Annex 1. Consultant has the meaning given in clause 33.1 (Enhanced Co-operation).
Configuration Management. (CM) shall mean a management measure that provides oversight and control of design information, safety information, and records of modifications (both temporary and permanent) that might impact the ability of items relied on for safety to perform their functions when needed.
Configuration Management means the management of the Configurable Items;
