Health and Safety A Shared Concern. 20.7.1 As a matter of principle, both the union and the employer recognize that occupational health and safety is a shared concern of the parties. Both parties will endeavor cooperatively to maintain a safe work environment and will make recommendations to prevent and/or correct situations which threaten health and safety at the workplace.
