Common use of Height Work Clause in Contracts

Height Work. An employee working on any structure at a height of more than nine metres where an adequate fixed support not less than 0.75 metres wide is not provided, shall be paid 44 cents per hour in addition to ordinary rates. This subclause shall not apply to an employee working on a bosun's chair or swinging stage. This provision shall not apply in addition to the Towers Allowance prescribed in paragraph (h) of this subclause.
