Hiring Preference for Laid Off. Workers The following provision shall apply to an employee who has been laid off and remains on the recall list, or to an employee who is scheduled to be laid off on a date certain. All references below to a “laid-off employee” shall be deemed to include both categories referred to in the preceding sentence.
