Holiday Time Scheduling Sample Clauses

Holiday Time Scheduling. All requests for holiday time are subject to the operational needs of the Employer, and may be approved or denied based on the Employer’s assessment of its operational needs. Employees will be paid eight (8) hours of pay for each holiday not taken. Prior to July 1 of each year, employees may submit a request to be paid for up to seven (7) holidays, to be paid no later than the last pay in July. The employee shall not receive pay for any holiday time actually taken off prior to July 1. All other holiday time not taken off, or scheduled and approved to be taken off in the calendar year, shall be paid in the final pay of December.
