Typically, it outlines which employees may be required to work, how assignments are determined—such as by rotation, seniority, or volunteer basis—and any notice or compensation provisions that apply. This clause ensures that holiday work is distributed fairly and transparently, while also addressing staffing needs during periods when many employees may prefer time off.
