Shift. A full-time shift shall normally consist of a nine (9) consecutive hour time period, determined by the University, of which one hour shall be used for a lunch period without compensation. A one-half hour lunch period may be substituted for the one hour lunch period with prior approval of the supervisor. With the approval of their supervisor and the Human Resources Office, schedules of less than forty (40) hours per week or a shift change may be elected by staff members.

Shift. A full-time eight (8) hour shift shall normally consist of an eight hour time period of which one-half hour shall be used for a lunch period with compensation. A full-time ten (10) hour shift shall normally consist of a ten (10) hour time period of which one-half hour is used for a lunch break with compensation. Employees are on call during their lunch break and must be readily available to answer any calls. It is the intent of the University to maintain at least two full time sworn staff members on duty on each Friday and Saturday between the hours of 10:00PM and 2:00AM while fall and winter classes are in session.
Shift. A Shift is the scheduled period of work during the twenty-four (24) hour work day. The shifts are described in Article 7, Hours Of Service.

Shift the hours scheduled or worked by an employee on any given day, as follows:
Shift. A shift differential of sixth eight cents ($.68) per hour worked shall be paid to employees whose shift starts on or after 2:00 p.m. and before 4:00 p.m.
Shift workers Shift workers will work in accordance with a regular roster suitable to the industry. A roster may be departed from in cases of emergency. Every shift worker will be entitled to at least one Sunday off duty in every 28 days and will be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes on each shift which will be counted as time worked.
