Common use of Holidays and workers compensation Clause in Contracts

Holidays and workers compensation. An employee absent as the result of an accident sustained in the course of the employment or in the periodic journeying to or from the place of employment and who is receiving payment under any Workers' Compensation Act shall not be entitled to payment for any public holidays occurring during the absence, but shall only be entitled to the difference between the payment received for such day under any Workers' Compensation Act and their ordinary agreement wage for the holiday.
