Action to Protect the Government’s Interest 1. The Performer agrees to execute or to have executed and promptly deliver to DARPA all instruments necessary to (i) establish or confirm the rights the Government has throughout the world in those Subject Inventions to which the Performer elects to retain title, and (ii) convey title to DARPA when requested under Paragraph C of this Article and to enable the Government to obtain patent protection throughout the world in that Subject Invention.
Controlled Government Data The Disclosing Party's Controlled Government Data, if any, will be identified in a separate technical document.
USE OF CONTRACT BY OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES At the option of the Contractor, the use of the contract resulting from this solicitation may be extended to other governmental agencies, including the State of Florida, its agencies, political subdivisions, counties, and cities. Each governmental agency allowed by the Contractor to use this contract shall do so independent of any other governmental entity. Each agency shall be responsible for its own purchases and shall be liable only for goods or services ordered, received and accepted. No agency receives any liability by virtue of this bid and subsequent contract award.
Performance of Government Functions Nothing contained in this contract shall be deemed or construed so as to in any way estop, limit, or impair the City from exercising or performing any regulatory, policing, legislative, governmental, or other powers or functions.
Government Data Practices Vendor and Sourcewell must comply with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13, as it applies to all data provided by or provided to Sourcewell under this Contract and as it applies to all data created, collected, received, stored, used, maintained, or disseminated by the Vendor under this Contract. If the Vendor receives a request to release the data referred to in this article, the Vendor must immediately notify Sourcewell and Sourcewell will assist with how the Vendor should respond to the request.
HELP FOR PERSONS AFFECTED BY ALCOHOL AND/OR OTHER DRUGS The OH&S Committee and management will provide information and assistance to persons seeking help for alcohol/drug problems or related problems, confidentially and without prejudice. • Sick leave or leave without pay may be negotiated to enable participation in rehabilitation or counselling. • No-one will be disadvantaged in the workplace as a result of undertaking a rehabilitation program.
Government and Service Employees' Union The leave shall be for a period of three years and shall be renewed upon request.
Pertinent Non-Discrimination Authorities During the performance of this contract, the Engineer, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest agree to comply with the following nondiscrimination statutes and authorities; including but not limited to:
COMPLIANCE BY CONTRACTOR WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS/ EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 6.1 In connection with the performance of the Services, the Contractor shall comply with all applicable statutes, laws, regulations, and orders of federal, state, county or municipal authorities which impose any obligation or duty upon the Contractor, including, but not limited to, civil rights and equal employment opportunity laws. In addition, if this Agreement is funded in any part by monies of the United States, the Contractor shall comply with all federal executive orders, rules, regulations and statutes, and with any rules, regulations and guidelines as the State or the United States issue to implement these regulations. The Contractor shall also comply with all applicable intellectual property laws.
Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right.
