Holidays Recognized. A member shall be entitled to ten (10) hours of holiday time for each of the following legal holidays which shall occur at the following times: New Year’s Day, January 1 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, the 3rd Monday in January President’s Day, the 3rd Monday in February Memorial Day, the last Monday in May Independence Day, July 4 Labor Day, the first Monday in September Columbus Day, the second Monday in October Veterans’ Day, November 11 Thanksgiving Day, the 4th Thursday in November Christmas Day, December 25
Holidays Recognized. The following days, as defined by the Highlands County Court Holiday Schedule, shall be considered paid holidays for regular full, part-time and probationary employees:
a. New Year's Day

c. Good Friday
d. Memorial Day
e. Independence Day
f. Labor Day

Holidays Recognized. The following days will be recognized and observed as holidays as they occur during an employee’s regular work period: New Year’s Day, Good Friday (1/2 day, p.m.), Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Native American Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day (1/2 day, p.m.), Christmas Day, Presidents day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx day, and such other days as may be designated from time to time by the City Council. Holidays will be observed on the day that they fall.

Holidays Recognized. The following holidays are recognized by the Agency: New Year’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Easter Sunday is also recognized as a holiday, but for the sole and limited purpose of payment of the holiday premium rate for employees who actually work on the holiday. However, no holiday pay (as described in Section 2) will be paid to any employee for Easter Sunday. Holiday shifts will be the third shift that begins on the day preceding the recognized holiday and the first and second shift that begin on the day of the recognized holiday.
