Hoses. The Owner must ensure that Port of Melbourne’s water hoses and equipment are properly attached to the existing fresh potable water supply fixtures located at the wharf apron.

Hoses shall be marked/labeled “potable water” and the use of galvanized pipes or fittings is prohibited. The ends of all hoses shall be provided with threaded or clamped caps. Such caps shall be in place when hoses are not in use. Hoses in storage compartments must also be capped.
Hoses. The Terminal Party agrees to connect the hose at the shore and to use the shore facility crane to lift the hose to the Vessel’s manifold where the Vessel Party agrees to connect and disconnect hoses to the Vessel’s manifold.
Hoses. Hoses for loading shall be furnished by the Supplier and shall be connected and disconnected by the Supplier or at the option of the vessel, by the vessel at the Supplier’s risk and expense. Laytime shall continue until the hoses have been disconnected.

Crossover hoses between barges will be furnished and connected by the barge at the barge’s risk and expense.
