Common use of Hospital Emergency Room Services Clause in Contracts

Hospital Emergency Room Services. We cover hospital emergency room services only for an emergency. See Section 8.0 for the definition of an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your doctor or use an urgent care center. If you have an accident or medical emergency that needs emergency room services and your first visit to the emergency room occurs within twenty-four (24) hours of the accident or onset of symptoms, we cover the hospital emergency room services and the doctor’s services.
