Hotel Tax Grant. An economic development grant payable quarterly in an amount equal to seventy-five percent (75%) of the hotel occupancy taxes (the “HOT”) received by the City that are generated at the Facilities (the “HOT Grant”) for the Grant Term, provided that the amount of the HOT Grant provided herein shall not exceed One Million Eight Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1,800,000.00). In the event Company does not receive the maximum amount of the HOT Grant provided herein during the Grant Term, the City shall have no obligation to pay to Company any portion of the HOT generated at the Facilities after the Grant Term has expired.

Hotel Tax Grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the City shall pay the HOT Grant to Company on a quarterly basis beginning on the earlier of the first day of the months of February, May, August and November following the date Company first meets the qualifications set forth in Paragraph 1.b above, and continuing each quarter thereafter on the first day of the months set forth above provided Company meets the qualifications set forth in Paragraph 1.b above for the applicable quarter, until the earlier of (i) the end of the Grant Term, (ii) the HOT Grant is paid in full or (iii) this Agreement is earlier terminated. If at any time any party takes any action that results in a reallocation or refund of the HOT received by the City that are generated at the Facilities, the parties hereto agree to reconcile the corresponding payments of HOT Grant in the following manner:

  • Franchise Tax Status Contractor represents and warrants that it is not currently delinquent in the payment of any franchise taxes owed the State of Texas under Chapter 171 of the Texas Tax Code.

  • Special Taxing Districts SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICTS MAY BE SUBJECT TO GENERAL OBLIGATION INDEBTEDNESS THAT IS PAID BY REVENUES PRODUCED FROM ANNUAL TAX LEVIES ON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH DISTRICTS. PROPERTY OWNERS IN SUCH DISTRICTS MAY BE PLACED AT RISK FOR INCREASED MILL LEVIES AND TAX TO SUPPORT THE SERVICING OF SUCH DEBT WHERE CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE RESULTING IN THE INABILITY OF SUCH A DISTRICT TO DISCHARGE SUCH INDEBTEDNESS WITHOUT SUCH AN INCREASE IN MILL LEVIES. BUYERS SHOULD INVESTIGATE THE SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICTS IN WHICH THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED BY CONTACTING THE COUNTY TREASURER, BY REVIEWING THE CERTIFICATE OF TAXES DUE FOR THE PROPERTY AND BY OBTAINING FURTHER INFORMATION FROM THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, THE COUNTY CLERK AND RECORDER, OR THE COUNTY ASSESSOR. A tax certificate from the respective county treasurer listing any special taxing districts that effect the Property (Tax Certificate) must be delivered to Buyer on or before Record Title Deadline. If the Property is located within a special taxing district and such inclusion is unsatisfactory to Buyer, in Buyer’s sole subjective discretion, Buyer may object, on or before Record Title Objection Deadline. If the Tax Certificate shows that the Property is included in a special taxing district and is received by Buyer after the Record Title Deadline, Buyer has until the earlier of Closing or ten days after receipt by Buyer to review and object to the Property’s inclusion in a special taxing district as unsatisfactory to Buyer.

  • Contractor to Pay All Taxes Except for any applicable California sales and use taxes charged by Contractor to City, Contractor shall pay all taxes, including possessory interest taxes levied upon or as a result of this Agreement, or the Services delivered pursuant hereto. Contractor shall remit to the State of California any sales or use taxes paid by City to Contractor under this Agreement. Contractor agrees to promptly provide information requested by the City to verify Contractor’s compliance with any State requirements for reporting sales and use tax paid by City under this Agreement.

  • STATUTORY TAX DISTRICTS If the Property is situated in a utility or other statutorily created district providing water, sewer, drainage, or flood control facilities and services, Chapter 49, Texas Water Code, requires Seller to deliver and Buyer to sign the statutory notice relating to the tax rate, bonded indebtedness, or standby fee of the district prior to final execution of this contract.

  • PAYROLL TAXES Employer shall have the right to deduct from the compensation and benefits due to Employee hereunder any and all sums required for social security and withholding taxes and for any other federal, state, or local tax or charge which may be in effect or hereafter enacted or required as a charge on the compensation or benefits of Employee.

  • EQUIPMENT TAX ASSESSMENT 17.1 Any bid for public improvement shall comply with Nebraska Revised Statutes Section 77-1323 and 77-1324. Indicating; every person, partnership, limited liability company, association or corporation furnishing labor or material in the repair, alteration, improvement, erection, or construction of any public improvement shall sign a certified statement which will accompany the contract. The certified statement shall state that all equipment to be used on the project, except that acquired since the assessment date, has been assessed for taxation for the current year, giving the county where assessed.

  • Real Estate Taxes and Special Assessments The 2022 calendar year real estate taxes due and payable in 2023 shall be paid by Seller. Seller shall credit Buyer(s) at closing for said 2022 real estate taxes payable in 2023 based on the most recent ascertainable tax figures. Xxxxx is responsible for all subsequent real estate taxes.

  • Employee Parking Fees Authority reserves the right to charge Company or its employees a reasonable and non-discriminatory parking fee based on Authority's cost of providing services and facilities for the employee parking areas provided at the Airport. If Company is invoiced by Authority for parking fees, payment is due to Authority within 15 days from the date of the invoice, or parking privileges may be terminated.

  • Real Estate Taxes All taxes and installments for special assessments will be prorated for the calendar year based on taxes levied. If taxes have not been levied, then they will be prorated based upon taxes for the previous year, adjusted for the most recent mill levy, if known.

  • Franchise Tax Certification If PROVIDER is a taxable entity subject to the Texas Franchise Tax (Chapter 171, Texas Tax Code), then PROVIDER certifies that it is not currently delinquent in the payment of any franchise (margin) taxes or that PROVIDER is exempt from the payment of franchise (margin) taxes.
