Common use of HOUR SHIFT BASIS Clause in Contracts

HOUR SHIFT BASIS. An employee who works at a premium rate continually, will receive annual vacation pay at the premium rate. An employee who works less than the full year at the premium rate will receive vacation pay on a pro rata basis. When working the three (3) day week schedule, an employee who works 102 or more days (1224 hours) at premium rate during the vacation year, will be paid full vacation entitlement at the current premium rate in the succeeding year. When working the three (3) day work week schedule, an employee who works less than 102 days (1224 hours) but more than 15 days (180) hours at the premium rate, will receive vacation pay based on the following:
