Human Rights Xxx 0000. 3.4.1. Under Article 8 of the Human Rights Xxx 0000, all data subjects have a right to a respect for their private and family life, home and correspondence. 3.4.2. Interference with this right may be justified where lawful and necessary in a democratic society in the interests of national security, public safety or the economic well-being of the country, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others. Lawful intrusion by the police service requires proportionate use of personal data for any of the policing purposes.
