Common use of Immunization and Testing Clause in Contracts

Immunization and Testing. If, in the conduct of official duties, an employee is exposed to serious communicable diseases which would require immunization or testing, the employee, upon prior notification to the supervisor, shall be provided immunization against or testing for such communicable diseases without cost to the employee where immunization may prevent such disease from occurring. Annual Tuberculin screening shall be required with time and any county health department cost provided for by the county. Should an employee choose to be screened by a private physician, that is an acceptable alternative, and results shall be provided to the county and any healthcare costs incurred by the employee in this instance will be the employee’s responsibility.
