Common use of Independent Action Clause in Contracts

Independent Action. Grantee reserves the right to fulfill its obligations under this Agreement in an independent manner, at any location and at any time within the agreed-upon timeline. Grantee’s employees or contract personnel shall perform all services required by this Agreement, but their time need not be devoted solely to fulfilling obligations under this Agreement. Grantee shall furnish all equipment and materials used to meet its obligations, and complete the Project. The State Library shall not provide any personnel or other resources beyond the grant award and is not required to provide training in connection with this Agreement.
