Common use of Independent Applicant Clause in Contracts

Independent Applicant. ‌ 1. An applicant who graduated from a LCME-accredited or AOA COCA- accredited medical school prior to the year of the Match; 2. A student enrolled in, or a graduate of, a medical school accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools; or 3. A student enrolled in, or a graduate of, a medical school outside the United States and Canada that is not accredited by the LCME, the AOA COCA, or the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools, hereafter referred to as an International Medical Graduate (IMG).
