Common use of Independent Engineer Clause in Contracts

Independent Engineer. A licensed professional engineer with expertise in the development of offshore wind energy projects, reasonably selected by and retained by Seller in order to determine the Operational Installed Capacity of the Selected Project as provided in Section 2.01(c) of this Agreement. Independent System Operator/Transmission Owner Agreement (“ISO/TO Agreement”): The agreement, which includes Appendices A-1 and A-2, that establishes the terms and conditions under which the transmission owners transferred to the ISO Operational Control (as defined in the ISO/TO Agreement) over designated transmission facilities.
