Common use of Independent Learning Modules Clause in Contracts

Independent Learning Modules. 25.02.01 The maximum number of lessons (including examinations) a teacher shall correct during the school year shall be: Effective September 1, 2014 [460 lessons] times [# of periods assigned to exclusively deliver ILM per year] This includes students 21 years of age, and older. “Independent Learning Modules” shall be defined as 20 lessons associated with 110 hours of instruction to achieve a credit. Should the number of lessons associated with 110 hours of instruction to achieve a credit decrease/increase, the maximum number of lessons calculated, using the formula above, shall be adjusted, decreasing/increasing the total amount proportionally. 25.02.02 The Employer and the Union shall work cooperatively to monitor the application of the above maximums. The Employer shall provide OSSTF with data showing the number of lessons/exams teachers have corrected in Semester 1 and in the entire school year, in a timely manner.
