Independent Medical Opinion. At Family’s option or as required by Agency or foreign country, Family may obtain an independent medical opinion concerning the Referred Child prior to adoption, at Family expense, and rely upon that independent medical opinion in their decision whether to adopt. Family will also be provided with a list of International Medical Clinics and options for obtaining a medical evaluation of the child’s information prior to acceptance of the child referral.

  • INDEPENDENT MEDICAL JUDGMENT Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement or in the SignatureMD Agreement, Personalized Care Practice retains full and free discretion to, and shall, exercise his/her professional medical judgment on behalf of Program Member with respect to medical services rendered to Program Member, and nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed or construed to influence, limit or affect a physician’s independent medical judgment with respect to Personalized Care Practice’s provision of medical services to Program Member and Program Member’s medical treatment.

  • Second Medical Opinions Members are entitled to a second medical opinion when disputing the appropriateness or necessity of a surgical procedure, or when subject to a serious injury or illness.

  • Opinion On or before the Closing Date, the Master Servicer shall cause to be delivered to the Depositor, the Seller, the Trustee and any NIMS Insurer one or more Opinions of Counsel, dated the Closing Date, in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to the Depositor and Xxxxxx Brothers Inc., as to the due authorization, execution and delivery of this Agreement by the Master Servicer and the enforceability thereof.

  • Second Opinion In any case where the Employer has reason to doubt the validity of the certification as outlined above, the Employer may require, at the Employer's expense, if not covered by insurance, that the eligible employee obtain the opinion of a second health care provider designated or approved by the Employer concerning any information certified by the original certification. The provider of the second opinion shall not be employed on a regular basis by the Employer.

  • Dissemination of Research Findings and Acknowledgement of Controlled-Access Datasets Subject to the NIH GDS Policy It is NIH’s intent to promote the dissemination of research findings from use of controlled-access dataset(s) subject to the NIH GDS Policy as widely as possible through scientific publication or other appropriate public dissemination mechanisms. Approved Users are strongly encouraged to publish their results in peer-reviewed journals and to present research findings at scientific meetings.

  • Committee Representation The Union shall be granted representation on any committees that may be established to accomplish the aims of the Ohio Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.).

  • Independent Status of Contractor In the performance of this Contract, the parties shall be acting in their individual, corporate or governmental capacities and not as agents, employees, partners, joint ventures, or associates of one another. The parties intend that an independent contractor relationship shall be created by this Contract.   • Engagement of Independent Review Organization Within 60 days after the Effective Date, Xx.
