Common use of Individual Complaints Clause in Contracts

Individual Complaints. ‌ If an individual teacher has a personal complaint which he/she desires to discuss with the supervisor, he/she is free to do so without recourse to the Grievance Procedure. However, no grievance as defined herein shall be adjusted without prior notification to the Association and opportunity for an Association representative to be present, nor shall any such adjustment of the grievance be inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement. In the administration of the Grievance Procedure, the interest of the employee shall be the sole responsibility of the Association.
