Common use of Industry Promotion Clause in Contracts

Industry Promotion. Section 1. Except as otherwise provided by Article XIII, Section 16, effective for all work performed on and after July 1, 2017, the Individual Employer shall pay to the Industry Promotion Fund established by the Association the sum of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour for each hour, straight time or overtime, worked by or paid for each of its employees upon work covered by this Agreement. The Individual Employer shall report the amount paid for Industry Promotion on the same monthly report forms used for the reporting of payments to the Trust Funds, and shall send such monies to the address shown on said report forms. Payments for Industry Promotion shall not constitute nor be deemed to be wages due to the employees with respect to whose work such payments are made.
