  • Informal Negotiations To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Terms of Use (each a "Dispute" and collectively, the “Disputes”) brought by either you or us (individually, a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”), the Parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute (except those Disputes expressly provided below) informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. If the grievance is not resolved through informal discussion with the immediate supervisor and/or University representative(s), the employee may file a formal grievance as set forth below.

  • EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT a) All employees shall be initially engaged upon a three month probationary period. Either party may terminate this probationary period with one week’s notice.

  • Informal Conference Prior to the filing of a grievance, in an effort to resolve the issue(s), the grievant shall make reasonable attempts to initiate / discuss or an attempt to initiate / discuss the issue(s) informally with the grievant’s Principal or Supervisor.

  • Minimum Engagement Any employee including casuals instructed to report to work, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and work ceases due to any reason, or not required to start after reporting to the site or depot, will be paid a minimum of four hours

  • Informal Stage An employee, with the concurrence of the Bargaining Unit, may initiate a complaint with the immediate supervisor within twenty-five (25) days from the day the cause of the grievance became known, or reasonably ought to have been known. The immediate supervisor shall answer the complaint in writing within five (5) days after the receipt of the complaint.

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.
