Informants. This OICI Protocol does not intend to create an employer-employee relationship between an informant and any agency participating in this OICI Protocol. For the sole purpose of determining when an Officer Involved Critical Incident has occurred and whether the incident will be investigated, informants are considered employees when they are working under the immediate direction, control, and supervision of a peace officer.
Informants. ATF guidelines and policy regarding the operation of informants and cooperating witnesses will apply to all informants and cooperating witnesses directed by TFOs. Informants developed by TFOs may be registered as informants of their respective agencies for administrative purposes and handling. The policies and procedures of the participating agency with regard to handling informants will apply to all informants that the participating agency registers. In addition, it will be incumbent upon the registering participating agency to maintain a file with respect to the performance of all informants or witnesses it registers. All information obtained from an informant and relevant to matters within the jurisdiction of this MOU will be shared with all parties to this MOU. The registering agency will pay all reasonable and necessary informant expenses for each informant that a participating agency registers.
Informants. All confidential and cooperating witnesses exclusively developed through the Task Force will be opened as IRS-CI informants, sources, assets or cooperating witnesses, and handled in accordance with IRS-CI guidelines, policy and procedures.

Informants developed by the TFO may be registered as informants of MPD for administrative purposes and handling. The policies and procedures of the Participant with regard to handling informants will apply to all ATF informants that each Participant registers. In addition, it will be incumbent upon the registering Participant to maintain a file with respect to the performance of all informants or witnesses it registers. Informants. Where a ground reconnaissance Heritage Survey is required to be carried out, JJAC will appoint up to a maximum of 4 people only being Nharnuwangga, Wajarri and Ngarlawangga People or people nominated by JJAC to assist with the conduct of the Heritage Survey. The Tenement Holder will pay the reasonable costs of the persons nominated. Where a full ethnographic Heritage Survey is required to be carried out JJAC will appoint a reasonable number of Nharnuwangga, Xxxxxxx and Ngarlawangga People or people nominated by the JJAC (up to a maximum of 10 persons only) to assist with the conduct of the Heritage Survey. The Tenement Holder will pay the reasonable costs of the persons nominated. JJAC will notify the Tenement Holder of the appointees under clauses 4.3(a) and (b) at the same time as it notifies the Tenement Holder under clause 3.1(d) whether or not a Heritage Survey is required to be undertaken. If as a result of: an amended Program of Activity; or any determination under clause 8; a ground reconnaissance Heritage Survey as opposed to a full ethnographic or archaeological Heritage Survey may be appropriate or determined, JJAC must immediately notify the Tenement Holder of the nominated (up to a maximum of 4) in place of those originally nominated. The Consultant may only consult with the persons nominated by JJAC for the purpose of preparation of the Heritage Survey.
Informants. NTATT Law Enforcement Agencies agree that all confidential and cooperating witnesses exclusively developed through the NTTTF will be opened as ICE, HSI informants, sources, assets, or cooperating witnesses, and handled in accordance with ICE, HSI guidelines, policy and procedures, or other state law.
