Common use of INFORMATION OF A DEROGATORY NATURE Clause in Contracts

INFORMATION OF A DEROGATORY NATURE. Information of a derogatory nature, except material mentioned in Section A of this Article, shall not be entered or filed unless and until the unit member is given notice (ten [10] working days before it is placed in the unit member’s personnel file) and an opportunity to review and comment. A unit member shall have the right to enter, and have attached to any such derogatory statement, his/her own comments. Such review shall take place during normal business hours, and the unit member shall be released from duty for this purpose without salary reduction.
