Initial Discussion. Any employee who believes that he or she has a grievance may discuss his or her complaint with the Fire Chief. If the issue is not resolved within ten (10) working days, or if the employee elects to submit his or her grievance directly to an official of the association, the procedures hereafter specified shall be invoked.
