Common use of Injury Unique to Law Enforcement Clause in Contracts

Injury Unique to Law Enforcement. An employee injured in the line of duty in an occurrence unique to law enforcement shall receive full pay (base hourly rate of pay times FTE) for the first ninety (90) days, minus any Worker's Compensation or other benefits paid to the employee, and after said ninety (90) days may utilize their accumulated sick leave and vacation leave to supplement other compensation up to an equivalent of full pay (base hourly rate of pay times FTE) in accordance with County policy.
