Institutional Responsibility for Quality of Instruction. PBSC and/or FAU ensure that dual enrollment courses' curriculum and assessment procedures meet accreditation requirements. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Council on Accreditation & School Improvement (SACS CASI) and the Commission on Colleges is the accreditation agency. Whether the dual enrollment courses are taught on PBSC, FAU, or the high school campus, its standards apply. PBSC and FAU provide dual enrollment instructors a copy of course objectives, requirements, and learning outcomes before the beginning of the semester. PBSC and/or FAU require that all dual enrollment instructors meet or exceed the minimum qualifications established by SACS-COC.
