Common use of INSURANCE AND ANNUITY PLAN Clause in Contracts

INSURANCE AND ANNUITY PLAN. A. The Committee will pay the maximum percentage permitted by law of the cost of the following types of insurance coverage: 1. A $5,000 term life insurance plan and a $5,000 accidental death and dismemberment policy. Upon retirement $5,000 life insurance without the accidental and dismemberment policy; The City of Fall River and the Fall River Public Employees Committee, of which the Association is a member, have entered into a separate agreement regarding health insurance (see Appendix D). B. Teachers will be eligible to participate in a "tax sheltered" Annuity Plan established pursuant to the United States Public Law No. 87-370.
