Common use of Intellectual Property Committee (IPC) Clause in Contracts

Intellectual Property Committee (IPC). 29.2.1 The University shall maintain an Intellectual Property Committee. The Committee shall be comprised of no more than seven members (including the Chair). Both the University and the Faculty Association are entitled to appoint two academic staff members to the Committee for a three year term. The number of members appointed by the University shall not exceed the total number of members appointed by all of the employee groups having representation on the Committee. The parties will ensure the terms of the appointees are staggered in order to maintain continuity of the committee.
