Common use of Invalidation Clause in Contracts

Invalidation. If any provision of this Memorandum of Understanding should be held invalid or outside the scope of bargaining by operation of law or by the final judgment of any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this Memorandum of Understanding shall not be affected thereby. In the event of invalidation of any section of this Memorandum of Understanding, the parties agree to meet and confer within thirty (30) days after such determination for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such section.
