Investment Promotion and Protection. 1. Cooperation shall aim at maintaining and, if necessary, improving a legal framework and a favourable climate for private investment and its protection, both domestic and foreign, which is essential to economic and industrial reconstruction and development in Estonia. The cooperation shall also aim to encourage and promote foreign investment and privatisation in Estonia.
