Common use of Involuntary Clause in Contracts

Involuntary. a. Should it be necessary to involuntarily transfer an employee in the midst of the begin/end dates of the Personnel Action form, the employee shall be given written reasons and granted an interview prior to the involuntary transfer. The employee shall receive five (5) days notice prior to the transfer. Should the employee desire, the employee may request a meeting with the Superintendent. The employee is entitled to Association representation at the meeting. b. An employee involuntarily transferred shall have a priority to return to the employee’s previous assignment for a period of eighteen (18) months following such involuntary transfer.
