Job Action - Sick Outs. Variance from Personnel Rule 1404 - Whenever the CAO or his/her designee determines that an increase in absenteeism due to a job action or sick out is significantly and detrimentally affecting the ability of one or more departments to carry out their functions, he/she may declare that this Section shall be in force and the following rules shall apply. These requirements shall stay in effect for all purposes until after the CAO determines that the increased incidence of absenteeism and the threat of such increased incidence of absenteeism have abated.
