Common use of Joint Committee on Insurance Clause in Contracts

Joint Committee on Insurance. At least three (3) ONA-selected nurses and the ONA Labor Relations Representative shall serve on a Joint Committee for the purposes of monitoring and making recommendations concerning benefit levels and costs of the health, dental, vision, and orthodontia insurance plans made available to hospital employees. The parties may consider other types of insurance plans than those listed in this section if mutually agreed to by the committee members. Nurses shall be compensated at their straight-time rate of pay for time spent in official Committee meetings and activities.
