Common use of Joint Committee on Insurance Clause in Contracts

Joint Committee on Insurance. At least three (3) ONA-selected nurses and the 22 ONA Labor Relations Representative shall serve on a Joint Committee for the purposes 23 of monitoring and making recommendations concerning benefit levels and costs of the 24 health, dental, vision, and orthodontia insurance plans made available to hospital 26 in this section if mutually agreed to by the committee members. Nurses shall be 27 compensated at their straight-time rate of pay for time spent in official Committee 28 meetings and activities.

The parties may consider 18 other types of insurance plans than those listed in this section if mutually agreed to by the committee com- 19 mittee members. Nurses shall be 27 compensated at their straight-time rate of pay for time spent in 20 official Committee 28 meetings and activities.

The Association will attempt to select the same nurses for multiple- year 19 terms to ensure continuity and historical knowledge. The parties may consider other 20 types of insurance plans than those listed in this section if mutually agreed to by the 21 committee members. Nurses shall be 27 compensated at their straight-time rate of pay for 22 time spent in official Committee 28 meetings and activities.
