Common use of Joint Meeting Clause in Contracts

Joint Meeting. The representatives of the party made up of Board members and Administrators shall meet at least once every three (3) months with representatives of the Association, at a mutually convenient time and date, when requested by either party to discuss matters of concern. Each party shall be limited to six members. Representatives of the Board and the Association may mutually request the services of the Federal Mediation Conciliation Services (FMCS) to help fashion a Joint Labor/Management Committee including, but not limited to, the following provisions: Training in collaborative problem-solving and consensus-building along with initial and subsequent monitoring from FMCS, representatives from both parties with active participation, joint control, written ground rules, bi-monthly meetings with set agendas, and published minutes for all staff.
