Overtime and Extra Work. Overtime shall be determined by the supervisor and shall be voluntary except in emergencies. "Emergencies" shall be defined to mean only those situations whereby the essential operation of the school District is in jeopardy of not being met. Notice of overtime or extra work shall be given to the affected employee(s) at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance whenever possible. Compensation for overtime shall be in accordance with Article XII.

Overtime and Extra Work. 13.1 All overtime shall be offered to employees on a rotation basis recognizing seniority using the following formula. 13.2 All overtime work shall be posted five (5) days in advance, if possible. Employees shall be awarded overtime within their own job location before it is offered to any employee from another location. 13.3 If a custodial employee within a building declines overtime, it shall be offered to the most senior custodial employee outside of the building in which the overtime is needed. Such overtime out of the building shall be offered on a rotating basis in order of seniority. If no custodial employee accepts the overtime, then it will be offered to employees outside the classification, who have signed up for such sub work, on a rotating basis. A yearly sign-up list will be offered for overtime assigned out of the classification. 13.4 All hours over forty (40) hours in one (1) week shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2). 13.5 All employees shall be allowed to actively participate in any and all political activities. 13.6 If an employee is called to a job site outside his/her normal duty hours by the Board, police, fire, or any other governmental agency of authority, said employee will receive a minimum of one (1) hour at the appropriate rate of pay. 13.7 All o take all h his/ 13.8 Sun 13.9 Any and all paid time off, other than sick leave, shall be calculated as time worked. 13.10 Any employee that performs work for the Board shall be offered compensatory time off when school is not in session or choose to be paid their appropriate rate of pay. No employee may accumulate in excess of forty (40) hours of comp time at any one time.
Overtime and Extra Work. An employee working more than forty (40) hours per week in one classification between 12:01 a. m. Sunday and 12:00 midnight Saturday shall be paid 1.5 times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week. In calculating hours for purposes of determining overtime, only hours worked will be included (i.e., hours taken for leave or holiday pay will not be included). Employees whose hours exceed 40 hours per week in more than one classification will be paid overtime pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (i.e., the employee will receive the specified rate of pay for all hours worked, plus ½ the blended rate for all hours worked in excess of forty hours per week. Any and all additional/extra hours of work and/or overtime hours must be pre-approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee. When needed by the District and pre-approved by the Superintendent, custodial personnel (Maintenance, Buildings & Grounds Managers, custodians, and cooks/cashiers) will be provided with extra/additional hours of work occurring between the first day of school and the last day of school for students (including winter, spring and holiday breaks) on a seniority rotational basis. Custodial and cooks/cashiers employees performing such additional work or refusing same when designated by the rotation list will move to the bottom of the list. For all-day activities scheduled on non-student days occurring within the district, custodial employees shall be limited to 8 hours of work. However, it is understood that these hours will be first offered to custodians contracted to work less than 8 hours per day to afford them the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week as noted in section 7.2. All special event, weekend and summer work will be offered on a rotating basis in the order of seniority, regardless of their home building. A weekly schedule of this work will be posted in an appropriate area. The custodian or cook/cashier at the top of their respective seniority list will have first choice of the posted work scheduled for any given day. The custodian or cook/cashier who declines the work based on their respective list will be rotated to the bottom of such list. Any custodian or cook/cashier who accepts the work will be rotated to the bottom of the respective list. Trading places on the list is prohibited. When the lead xxxx does banquet preparation and other food service duties become necessary for cafeteria employees outside of the regular school day, this work will be assigned as overtime and offered to employees on a rotating basis following Article 10, B.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work.   • Requirement to Work Reasonable Overtime The Employer may require any Employee to work reasonable overtime at overtime rates and such Employee shall work overtime in accordance with such requirement.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract.   • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Pay ‌ Overtime pay shall be paid to the employee on the next paycheque after the expiration of the pay period in which the overtime was earned except as provided in Article 16.6 (Compensating Time Off) below.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted).   • STOP WORK (a) SELLER shall stop Work for up to ninety (90) days in accordance with any written notice received from LOCKHEED XXXXXX, or for such longer period of time as the parties may agree and shall take all reasonable steps to minimize the incurrence of costs allocable to the Work during the period of Work stoppage. (b) Within such period, LOCKHEED XXXXXX shall either terminate in accordance with the provisions of this Contract or continue the Work by written notice to SELLER. In the event of a continuation, an equitable adjustment in accordance with the principles of the "Changes" clause shall be made to the price, delivery schedule, or other provision(s) affected by the Work stoppage, if applicable, provided that the claim for equitable adjustment is made within thirty (30) days after date of notice to continue.
