Common use of Joint Pledge Clause in Contracts

Joint Pledge. As may be provided by applicable law, neither the Township nor the Lodge shall unlawfully discriminate against any member on the basis of age, sex, race, color, creed, national origin, political affiliation, disability, marital status, military service, sexual orientation, application for or participation in the State of Ohio worker's compensation program or membership or non-membership in the Lodge.

No member shall be discriminated against because of Ohio worker's compensation program marital status or membership political affiliations; however, the assignment of spouses to different shifts or non-membership in the Lodgean action taken to avoid an unlawful conflict of interest shall not constitute a violation of this Section.
