Jurisdiction and Scope of Bargaining Unit. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for a bargaining unit described as all employees of the Employer, including dependent contractors, engaged in motion picture production in the classifications set out in Schedule B, or performing any of the functions or similar functions of any of the classifications set out in Schedule B. This Collective Agreement applies to all those employees of the Employer. The Local’s Heads of Departments shall be responsible for the building, striking, inspection, handling, placing and producing of sets, electrical equipment, properties, wardrobe, and the buying, renting or otherwise acquiring said properties, wardrobe or equipment as it applies to their area of duties and the Company agrees to employ sufficient personnel in every department so that each department is able to safely and efficiently complete its work. Each Department will have one Head at the applicable rate. It is agreed that the construction of flats falls under the jurisdiction of Local 856
