Common use of LABOR/EMPLOYMENT SAFETY Clause in Contracts

LABOR/EMPLOYMENT SAFETY. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the federal, state, and local government, including Cal/OSHA requirements and requirements for verification of employees’ legal right to work in the United States CONTRACTOR shall maintain emergency first aid treatment for its employees which complies with the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (29 U.S.C. § 651 et seq.), and California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Industrial Relations Division 1, Department of Industrial Relations, Chapter 4. CONTRACTOR shall ensure the availability of emergency medical services for its employees in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 1512. CONTRACTOR shall submit the Illness and Injury Prevention Program and a Project site specific safety program to CITY prior to beginning Work at the Project site. CONTRACTOR shall maintain a confined space program that meets or exceeds the CITY Standards. CONTRACTOR shall adhere to CITY’s lock out tag out program
