Lane Closures. Where construction of the Project shall involve lane closures public streets, the following shall apply: Lane closures require a Lane Closure Permit, obtained two weeks prior to planned construction, with a minimum 48-hour prior notice to local police and emergency departments (some police jurisdictions may require considerably more notice). Lane closures of a one day or less duration will generally not be approved for major collector streets or for arterial streets during the hours of 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm weekdays.

Lane Closures. Approval for all lane closures, mobile operations, and traffic pacing operations is required. Submit routine requests to the Engineer fourteen calendar days in advance of planned lane closures, mobile operations, and traffic pacing operations. For unforeseen events that require cancelling or rescheduling lane closures, mobile operations, and traffic pacing operations, revise the lane closure request as soon as possible.
Lane Closures. Subject to the lane closure restrictions set forth in Section 18 and in Section 22, Developer shall provide TxDOT and appropriate Customer Groups a minimum of two weeks advance notice for lane closures and/or traffic switches planned to be in effect longer than 24 hours, and a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for lane closures that are planned to be in effect less than 24 hours, using all appropriate tools as needed. Lane Closures. 15.3.1 Lane Closures during construction of the Works will be dealt with in accordance with Section 11.8 [Traffic Management During Construction]. 15.3.2 Not later than 60 days prior to the commencement of any Quarter, the Concessionaire shall submit to the Province’s Representative in accordance with the Review Procedure a Schedule of Lane Closures in respect of such Quarter. Any such Schedule of Lane Closures must: 15.3.2.1 for the Original Service Period, be in accordance with the permitted Lane Closures set out in the Traffic Management Output Specifications and the Payment Mechanism; and 15.3.2.2 for the Enhanced Service Period, be in accordance with the permitted Lane Closures set out in the Local Area Specifications and the Payment Mechanism; and 15.3.2.3 give details of the proposed start and end dates for each period of Lane Closure and the works to be carried out that require the Lane Closure. 15.3.3 The Province’s Representative may make comments in respect of any period of Lane Closure requested in a Schedule of Lane Closures submitted by the Concessionaire pursuant to Section 15.3.2 in accordance with paragraph 3.5 of Part 2 of Schedule 8 [Review Procedure]. In such event, the Province’s Representative will notify the Concessionaire thereof with reasons and will indicate, in the case of an objection pursuant to paragraph 3.5.3 of Part 2 of Schedule 8 [Review Procedure], an appropriate duration for such Lane Closure and in any other case a period when the unacceptable period can be re­scheduled, on the basis that each such re­scheduled period will be as close as reasonably practicable to the requested period of Lane Closure and of equal duration or, if the Concessionaire has indicated another period and/or duration that would be preferable to it and that is acceptable to the Province’s Representative, such other period and/or duration. Lane Closures. Any planned closure on NTTA roadways, including travel lanes and shoulders, or other activities that might impact the traffic flow and safety of the traveling public, must be reported in advance to the NTTA Lane Closure Management Team for review and approval. All closure requests must be submitted using the XxxxXxxx Xxxx Closure Application (LCA) if the NTTA network login has been granted. For those without NTTA network access, the closure requests should be submitted using the NTTA Lane Closure Website (LCW) at xxx.xxxxxx.xxx. Accounts for both LCA and LCW will be granted with a request to the Lane Closure Management Team at xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx. The NTTA Lane Closure Request Form can be used when either account is not available or for closures that are outside of NTTA jurisdiction and require approval by other agencies. The Lane Closure Request Form can be obtained from the NTTA website or the Engineer. All lane closure requests must meet the advance notification requirements as specified below:

From More Than To and Including Available Day Calendar Day or Completion Date When the Contract Time is on either the calendar day or completion date basis, the schedule for calendar days shall be used. When the Contract Time is based on an available day basis, the schedule for available days shall be used. For each Calendar Day or Available Day, as specified, that any work shall remain uncompleted after the contract time specified for the completion of The Work required by the Contract, the sum specified in the Contract will be deducted from any money due the Contractor, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages; provided however, that due account shall be taken of any adjustment of the contract time for completion of the work granted under the provisions of Subsection 108.07.E. The Department may waive such portions of the liquidated damages as may accrue after the work is in condition for safe and convenient use by the traveling public.

Lane Closures. The Contract shall include permitted periods for lane closures on the Authority Improvements and the TxDOT Improvements during construction of the Project. Upon issuance of notice-to-proceed under the Contract, the Authority may approve or disapprove all requests for lane closures that are compliant with the allowable lane closures identified in the Contract, and, except with regard to emergency lane closures, shall provide written notice to TxDOT of the closures at least 48 hours in advance for one-lane closures on any TxDOT facilities and 96 hours in advance for any closures on TxDOT facilities of more than one lane. In the event of an emergency lane closure, the Authority may permit the closure without the prior approval of TxDOT, and in that case, shall notify TxDOT of the closure as soon as possible after the Authority learns of the need for the closure.

Parking Lot B Construction: • It is the intention of this bid to cover the preparation and construction of Parking Lot B to confirm to all City of Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx County, and Texas Department of Transportation specifications. Parking Lot B shall serve as employee parking for Grayson County. • Parking lot pavement shall be six (6) inches of flex base and 2 inches of asphalt. • Approaches to be built to meet the City of Xxxxxxx’x specifications. • This parking lots shall have two (2) entrances. This is a utility pole and communications boxes that these entrances will split. Proper care shall be taken not to disturb these utilities. Utility locating will be at the responsibility of the Contractor. • Proper curb and guttering shall be required according to measurements listed below. • Sidewalk shall be constructed utilizing per the City of Xxxxxxx’x specifications. • Parking spot striping shall be according to the photo provided in Exhibit X. Xxxxxxx County anticipates lot providing 54 parking stalls. • Two (2) Approaches/Entrances to the lot entering/exiting from Xxxxxxxx St. There are utilities located in between where the two approaches should be places. Surveys – Contractor will furnish all stakes and furnish inspector with suitable assistance for making any required surveys in connections with location structures and final measurements of quantities of items installed.
