LATE PLACEMENT CHARGES / DAMAGES / PENALTY AND RECOVERIES. Vehicles as and when demanded will have to be placed by the transporter. At Jagdishpur, placement time for any type of vehicle will be Three Working Days from date of requirement of vehicle(s) (excluding date of placement date). For other stations, vehicle placement time for any type of vehicle will be five working days (excluding date of placement date). Penalty shall be levied for the delay / non-placement at the rates mentioned below: For Delay in vehicle placement: A penalty of Rs. 1000/- for group D Vehicles (mini / close body/ part load) per vehicle per day and Rs. 2000 /- for Group A,B and C Vehicles (Heavy Mechanical Trucks, FBT Trailers, LBT Trailers) per vehicle per day for each occasion will be levied. For Non-placement of vehicles: If transporter fails to place the required vehicle within seven working days from date of requirement of vehicle(s) at Jagdishpur and 10 working days from date of requirement of vehicle(s) at any other station, BHEL reserves the right to transfer that load to any other transporter AND a penalty of Rs. 1000/- for group D Vehicles (mini / close body/ part load) per vehicle per day and Rs. 2000/- for Group A,B and C Vehicles (Heavy Mechanical Trucks, FBT Trailers, LBT Trailers) per day shall be deducted from running bills/ SD of errant transporter (who failed to place the required vehicles), maximum 50% of freight bill. & if extra paid by BHEL for lifting of material then same to be deducted from transporters. However, under force majeure conditions, the same does not apply. If such instances are repeated three times in a period of six months, BHEL reserves the right to take appropriate action as deemed fit.

  • Transfer Expenses A transferred employee is expected to make arrangements to move expeditiously but this should not exceed a period of one year from date of transfer, except where there is a specific agreement between the employee and local management for an extension. Notwithstanding the provisions contained in IC § 5-17-5, any liability resulting from the State’s failure to make prompt payment shall be based solely on the amount of funding originating from the State and shall not be based on funding from federal or other sources.
