LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS’ LIABILITY. If an action or proceeding for damages is brought against an employee arising from acts or omissions made while acting or, in good faith purporting to act, within the scope of the employee’s official duties, then the County will provide a defense of the action or proceeding for the employee and indemnify the employee from any damages arising from such an action or proceeding.
